RALPH R. SAFFORD (“Randy”) is a founding member of Safford & Baker. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Randy has been practicing law in Michigan since 1974 after receiving his undergrad degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree from Harvard University. Randy practices in the areas of general business law and commercial transactions with a focus on representing the owners of small to medium-sized companies.

DONALD H. BAKER JR. is a founding member of Safford & Baker. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Don has been practicing law in North Carolina and Michigan since 1983 and 1987 respectively. After receiving his undergrad degree from the University of North Carolina and his law degree from the University of Michigan, Don began his legal career as a law clerk to Honorable James Dickson Phillips, Jr., United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit. Don practices in the areas of general business law, commercial transactions, and taxation, with a focus on venture capital/capital formation, publishing, copyright, and computer law.
